A Short Literary on the Kerala Trip

Hey Friends,

Last week myself, Kushagra and GP went for a company trip to Kerala (Wayanad). I would like to share with you some of our beautiful moments.

Whoever has described Kerala as "God's Own Country" is absolutely true. The nature has blessed Kerala with enchanting landscape. Greenery abounds Kerala. I must say, we three of us were very lucky to see such a beautiful landscape.

Travel :
We people left Bangalore at 8:00 a.m. (Thursday). The transport vehicles were quite luxurious and we had a lot of fun and masti throughout. We had a halt at Cafe Coffee Day on the Mysore Road and we had a very heavy breakfast (atleast me : One Masala Dosa, 2 Idlis and 2 Vadas).

On the way, we passed through the forest areas of Bandipur National Park, which was one more treat for our eyes. The highway passed through acres of forest area which was rich in flora and fauna. We were able to spot a herd of Deers grazing on the marshy land and a Fox. Oh !! its such amazing to see the wild animals in their natural habitat !!

We reached Wayanad at about 5:30 p.m. We were late since we first of all left Bangalore very late and upon that, the driving was too slow.

Living :

As soon as we reached Wayanad, we thought our travel was over. But we were wrong in absolute sense !! We had to head towards our resort were we were supposed to stay for the coming next 2 days (Vythiri Resort). This resort was still 7 kms above the hills and "I swear, I haven't had such a bumpy ride in my life on the kaccha roads and that too, on a Mahindra Jeep. I suppose it was the first model manufactured by Mahindra !!"

Vythiri Resort : The place we stayed

As soon as we reached our Resort, it was 6:00 p.m. already and we were really impressed by the facilities at the resort. It was built and maintained amidst the jungles and the cottages in which we were supposed to stay was really well furnished and very traditional in nature.

The gushy sound of stream flowing, the chirping of birds, the sweet scent of mud and wood !! Wow, I just don't have enough words to describe the nature's beauty...

Fun and Masti :
We had a lot of fun and laughter !! Oh my goodness, what an experience !!

Day 1 (Thursday) :
First of all, we made ourselves comfortable in our cottage and then, we headed
towards the basketball court, were we had a really tiring play. The enthusiasm within
each of us was at its peak.

At about 9:00 p.m. after dinner, we all people had to dress up as per the theme of each
team for Antakshari. There were six teams each consisting of 6 members. And, I am
very much happy to tell you that "My team (Chuk de India) won the prize for
best theme". Kudos to my team clap, clap, clap !!".

Day 2 (Friday) :
We had named it the day of adventure !! All we did on this day was exploring the
jungles, trekking and playing.

I want to tell you about a very dangerous insect which thrives in these jungles especially during monsoon. "LEECHES". Oh, the horrible blood suckers !! Each of us donated our blood to these and one good thing was, it was absolutely painless.

Next, we went on for Wayanad sight-seeing. I think this was the most beautiful part of our trip. We visited Pookut Lake which was nearby. The lake was amazing with surrounded beautiful landscape. We all had a boating spree here which was really tiresome, since we had to paddle a lot.

Lake View

During night time, we had organized Dance Nights. Oh, what an exercise we had !! We tried all the dance steps which we knew and every body was simply rocking to the music .

Day 3 (Saturday) :
The whole body was aching like hell and nobody was ready to get up from the bed. We all had a good sleep till 9:00 a.m. and checked out from the resort at 11:30 a.m.

I wish I would tell you each detail of our trip, but if I tell them in writing on this blog, I think Blogger site will be closed due to database overflow !! Ha ha ha ha (Just kidding)

That's it for now !! Enjoy Life !!
